A provincial organization with a 20-year history of providing services to Indian residential school survivors (irsss.ca)

Fairy Creek Blockade Land Defense

2021 DONATION: $700 [in food + supplies]

In supporting the protection of Vancouver Island's last standing old-growth forests, approximately $700 of gear and food were sent as a donation. We support the land defenders at Fairy Creek in their efforts to put an end to all logging of old-growth forests on Vancouver Island.

Raven Trust

RESPECTING ABORIGINAL VALUES & ENVIRONMENTAL NEEDS

Raven's vision is a country that embraces the ancestral laws of Indigenous Peoples and their equitable access to the justice system within a thriving natural habitat. Donate to help Indigenous Peoples access justice to defend land, air and water for our common future.

Vancouver Black Therapy & Advocacy Fund

2020 DONATION: $150 | 2021 DONATION: $50

The goal is to address the lack of Black therapy resources, advocacy, and mental health support in the Vancouver Lower Mainland  — land of the Coast Salish peoples–Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), Stó:lō and Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh) and xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam) Nations.

The DUDES Club

2021 DONATION: $150

The DUDES Club is a proven model for Indigenous men’s wellness promotion that builds solidarity and brotherhood, enabling men to regain a sense of pride and purpose in their life.

Red Cedar Cafe

2021 DONATION: $150

The Red Cedar Café is a not-for-profit community meal program, fueled by volunteers and mutual aid to provide healthy, tasty, affordable meals to seniors, people in self-isolation and other people in need in Lekwungen and W̱SÁNEĆ territory (Victoria, BC).

Feed The Valley

2020 DONATION: $100 | 2021 DONATION: $100

Feed the Valley is a community-based signature program established by Valley First in March 2010. Adopted by Enderby & District Financial in April 2013, Feed the Valley raises food, funds, and awareness about the critical issue of hunger in the Okanagan, Similkameen, and Thompson Valleys.

In response to the Covid-19 outbreak crisis in India as part of their #helpindiabreatheagain campaign

LEBANESE FOOD BANK | 2020 DONATION: $200

In response to the August 4th (2020) explosion in Beruit, we donated 100% of all proceeds that week to the Lebanese Food Bank, raising exactly $200 CAD for the Food Bank.

GREATER VANCOUVER FOOD BANK | 2020 DONATION: $100

For every $1 donated, the Greater Vancouver Food Bank can purchase $3 worth of nutritious, wholesome food thanks to our relationships with BC farmers and wholesalers.
